First off, my name is Jonathan Terrington, a people loving person and the son of a loveable but sometimes demanding 98 year old gender fluid parent with a passion for keeping busy who’s quality of life started to diminish when their mobility declined.

Despite regular visits and at least weekly outings, I soon realised that, as a full-time worker, I could not provide the sustained stimulation and person-centred care my parent required.

Upon researching one-to-one support options, it became evident that, although professional care agencies were plentiful, few offered the warmth, dignity, and respect that I sought for my loved one.

We value intergenerational engagement from a generation who has seen more change in their lives than anyone who came before them, welcoming the opportunity to reminisce. Born before microchips and plastic we find spending time looking through old photographs, using Google Street view to see their old haunts, tracing family trees and talking about the good old days as pleasant ways to care.

We also enjoy listening to the lives, online activities, experiences and opinions of younger family members while keeping our own views at the front door.
